When I’m not writing or teaching, I enjoy watching film and studying Semitic languages, especially Arabic and its morphology. I love architecture. (iPhone grade photos of my favorite spots, below!)

I share life with an educator (who is also a henna artist). We delight in outdoor adventures with our toddler.

My family hails from the Subcontinent and Greater Khorasan. I grew up in Southwest Houston, Texas.
