I’m a Ph.D. candidate in Philosophy at the University of Michigan. This Fall, I will be a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Notre Dame.
I work mainly in ethics, moral psychology, and metaethics, with further interests in social-political philosophy. My research also engages questions about explanation, time, and modality in ethics, putting it in conversation with epistemology, metaphysics, and the philosophies of action and history. I have a side hustle in Arabic/Islamic philosophy.
My advisors are Elizabeth Anderson, Sarah Buss, Peter Railton, and Brian Weatherson. Webb Keane, an anthropologist of ethics, is my cognate member.
