I am a Ph.D. candidate in Philosophy at the University of Michigan. I specialize in ethics, moral psychology, and metaethics, with interests in social-political philosophy and history of ethics (especially Arabic thought). I am also interested in questions about explanation, in epistemology and metaphysics, as well as philosophies of action, mind, science, and history, with an eye to their normative significance.

My advisors are Peter Railton, Sarah Buss, Elizabeth Anderson, and Brian Weatherson. Webb Keane, the great anthropologist of ethics, is my cognate member.
