I’m a Ph.D. candidate in Philosophy at the University of Michigan. This Fall, I will be a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Notre Dame.

I work mainly in ethics, moral psychology, and metaethics, though my research bears on questions in social-political philosophy and the history of ethics too. I also think about explanation, time, and modality in ethics, putting my work in conversation with epistemology, metaphysics, and the philosophy of action and history.

My advisors are Elizabeth Anderson, Sarah Buss, Peter Railton, and Brian Weatherson. Webb Keane, an anthropologist of ethics, is my cognate member.
